Farm Management Services:

Objective:  To operate the farm in a manner which will provide the owner with maximum long-term economic return consistent with the capabilities of the farm, good farming practices, and environmental and conservation concerns.

 

Share-Rent Management Program:

  1. Secure a capable tenant and negotiating the lease
  2. Development of a comprehensive Plan of Operation for the farm including:
    • Crop planning and rotation
    • Field sizes and locations
    • Plant populations and maturities
    • Fertilizer programs
  3. Timely farm inspections
  4. Management Reports
    • Crop conditions
    • Necessary repairs and improvements
    • Problems and opportunities
  5. Audit and payment of the owner’s share of farm expenses
  6. Marketing the owner’s share of the crop
  7. Complete financial accounting of owner’s farm income and expenditures
  • Herbicide and insecticide programs
  • Irrigation management and scheduling
  • Government Program participation
  • Crop harvest and delivery requirements

 

Supervision of capital projects such as terraces, irrigation development, or grain bins.

 

Development and implementation of a conservation plan as approved by the owner to assure continuing eligibility for USDA Farm Programs.

 

Review and analysis of USDA farm program participation for maximum owner benefit.

 

Review of farm environmental conditions to minimize owner risk and liability.
